Make a soft paste with them and rub gently with a cloth. Use a wet cloth to wipe away the residue and a soft dry one to finish the job.

Make a paste and clean with a dry cloth.
Mix together to form a paste and gently rub onto what you intend to clean. Take a clean rag and remove any residue, then gently buff with a soft rag.
I think everyone is telling you the same as I would. Soft lint free cloth and make a paste.
Baking soda is quite acidic and an abrasive, two things that are not good for wood. You might consider alternatives.
