Use an acid cleaner (scrubbing bubbles or another soap scum remover) and mix with barkeepers friend or bon ami. Don't use a bleach product with the acid cleaner.
Whink rust remover. You can find at Walmart with other cleaning products.
try making a paste with baking soda and white vinegar
I used white vinegar and soda to start with but it did not seem to help. I bought some Scrubbing Bubbles and Barkeepers Friend and oh my goodness. My sink was horrible but it is pretty and white now. I used the Scrubbing Bubbles first and then sprinkled the Barkeepers on top and let it set several hours, then my husband scrubbed it with a magic eraser and I was amazed. I don't know if the vinegar and soda helped or not so I can't say. Then I went back and sprinkled Barkeepers first and then the Scrubbing Bubbles and let it set several hours and my husband used another magic eraser, I have a whole new sink. I wanted to replace it before I tried this but now I am glad I found your suggestion. Thank you so much.
