never use soap! I would use some steel wool and very hot water. Don't let it soak either. Rust is cast iron's enemy
Hello. You can use salt and a lemon. Squeeze it onto any rusted areas. Use the lemon half to scrub on the salt into the pan. Then I would rinse and either put it in the oven or on the stove top to get all of the moisture out of the pan. Good Luck!
