For starters, better ventilation, even a portable fan will work. You might invest in a dehumidifier too. Wash the dog bed often. I have a bunch of dogs myself, and the covers get washed weekly. And brush your dog daily or at least once a week and give him or her a bath when needed.
Bathe dog more often. WAsh bedding. In between use baking soda pet odor eliminator. Vacuum. There is nothing else but hygiene. Just like humans. My dog can go five days smelling fine. Afterwards. The underlegs. Stinky. Body odor. I keep her wash. She loves it. I use gentle shampoo with odor control. Tea tree. Antiseptic.
