Combine 2 tablespoons ammonia with 2 quarts of warm tap water to remove grease stains or fingerprints from glass. Substitute white vinegar for the ammoniato remove water spots, such as from rain or previous cleaning, from the glass. Place the solution in a spray bottle.
Mix two tablespoons ofammonia OR white vinegar with two quarts or warm water. Mix one-half cup ammonia, one pint of 70 percent rubbing alcohol and one teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent. Add enough water to make one gallon liquid.

You can use 2 TBS of ammonia with 2 quarts of water to remove grease on windows. If you need to remove water spots, it's better to use vinegar & water. Here's the original article.

Wash with ammonia water. When done, rinse it with vinegar water to get any residue off the windows.
