  • Sure! I would maybe remove any pumpkins, though. I would just go simple on the Christmas decor. You can just add some pine cones, faux pine tree clippings, neutral ornaments, etc here and there. Then have the main focus be on the tree.

I love mixing white pumpkins and pinecones with natural looking faux trees. Feel like a soft transition for my house. Here is a post from a blog I follow that shows beautiful transitions. https://thistlewoodfarms.com/transition-decor-from-fall-to-christmas/

  • It's your house, do whatever pleases you. Over the years I have shyed away from the typical Christmas decor and use more natural elements with hints of sparkle here and there. Subtle, tasteful, rustic elegance. Most of my "Christmas" decor is just more "winter" related so that some of it can stay up through February when I swap out for Valentine's day decor. Acorns, pinecones, wood, trees, grasses, etc. I have a bronze reindeer stand that a friend made for me, and he is out all fall and winter. Great for candles or a special ornament to be displayed.

Yes. Use a lot of greens and branches. Put in a few orange items strategically placed in the greens for thanksgiving, Remove them for christmas and replace with red for christmas. Or use a few blooming mum plants for thanksgiving and replace with poinsettias for christmas. I do that in front of my fireplace.

I love the look of fall things mixed in with winter whites. Touches of gold and some twinkling lighting will make everything sparkle. Take down the fall things after Christmas and you can leave the rest til you take them down for Valentines day!
