I have a few ideas with dollar store vases and also a stair spindle, but I need help with flowers on top.

Are you planning on setting the vase on top of the spindle? If so, I would recommend using something like poster putty to hold it in place. Tables get bumped and if it's an outdoor reception there is wind to contend with as well.

I'm not sure what you are referring to with the "flowers on top" comment. Would you just drop the flowers into the vase?

I hope you have a wonderful wedding experience. We did a DIY wedding for my daughter and it was one of the most enjoyable times ever. There was an amazing amount of prep work and we did a "mock table" ahead of time with photos of how we wanted them to look. Decor for 1 table was packed in a box with a packing slip and photo - there were a few items on some of the tables didn't fit in a box like the candlabra (Lumiere) on the "Beauty & the Beast" table In her case, each of the reception tables was unique - 12 tables with 12 different themes.

Just remember it's a celebration and enjoy!

Thank you for replying. That was 2 different ideas I had seen. One with the vases glued to make a tall one where I could put flowers into the vase. The other was the spindle and would have to drill a hole in top to insert flowers. I have seen some ideas with glueing a bowl on top to put flowers in, but I need a step by step to help me. Thank you again.

Hi- not sure how high you're aiming for, but you can add extra height using stacked floral foam covered in moss. The flowers you choose can add up to 24" done artfully. Have you googled "tall wedding centerpieces" for images? I like the pearls too, and an occasional ostrich feather....

I have seen several pictures. I have tried some of the ideas and not been happy with end result yet. I will keep trying. Thank you so much for input! :)
