Window room ideas

Question

This wonderful 'atrium' is in the central hall of our 1980s home - leading to  kitchen/dining area. Skylight brightens the area. It's a bit over-done right now as I begin to change decor with seasons  - but need some fun ideas.  Rustic/industrial, Fall ideas?

Change out the window treatments, Use assorted fall foliage in the container,colorful indoor plants for fall as croton,pretty accent hanging lights. So many options but really based on your style.

One thing I would do is 'frost' that glass where you have a curtain hanging. I think it would make the area a little more tidy and sleek. Perhaps no more fake or 'silk' flowers...go for one big show-stopper greenery such as a hanging fern, or a collection of greens.  No more fake flowers. :) To be honest, it looks a little funereal with 'arrangements'.

I would die for that room.  No question.  Aviary and/or a fountain. Will work year round.

I would die for that room, also, but I would use it for a greenhouse in the winter for all of my tropical plants that don't fit in the house itself.  I would hang sheers on it when it looked cluttered though.

Hi Sue. I'm Cindy. That atrium would make a scary room. Be sure to let the trick-or-treaters get a glimpse of your scary room. You could begin by hanging black curtains to set the mood. If there's enough room, put a small table in there too. Place candles on the table and any other scary items you may have. And, last but not least, wear a witch's costume. So much fun. Have a good time with it.
