How do I make Christmas decor for my living room and Christmas tree?

Hi Vidhya. I'm Cindy. I decorate our Christmas tree in stages. After I have the tree standing vertically, I add lights. After that, I put on ornaments. My tree is like taking a walk thru time. I have all the ornaments my kids made mixed in with some bought from the store. Last comes garland. After my final approval, I put the tree squirt under the tree. If you have a live tree, be sure to keep it in water. Good luck Vidhya and Merry Christmas.

I do ours in stages, once the tree is up, make sure it has water and let it adjust to the room it is in. Next is the lights on the tree, then followed by ornaments and garland. We no longer use tinsel.

For the house we use Christmas candles, candy canes, Christmas table cloths, light up Santas, Christmas angels, and so on.
