Eileen, do you have any unbreakable Christmas ornaments in different sizes and colors, add fresh branches of evergreen, a small snowman or reindeer, fake snow flakes, mini lights. I hope that helped you a bit.

pine cones and cut branches of evergreen w/ maybe a birdcage if the planter is large then s big red bow

Oh fun! I would add evergreen and pine cones, painted white twigs and lots of red ribbon. You could also put a small evergreen tree in the planter and top it with a large bow...and lights.
