I found a copy of a church Bulletin that gives excellent details on the who, what, when, where and why of a Cookie Walk! https://oca.org/parish-ministry/parishdevelopment/a-christmas-cookie-walk Good luck!
A cookie walk is usually a sale of Christmas cookies made by a group of people. People bring a box they made to share and an empty box to take some home. Some groups use them for raising money while others do it for a fun activity before the holidays. They use a box and glove, choose their cookies or candies, and pay by the pound or simply exchange cookie brought for new cookie. Remember to have surgical gloves or some plastic bags on hand with which to pick out the cookies by and for each person. Invite your church ladies, quilting group, or neighborhood to come and tell them to bring some too. Then have other volunteers to weigh and collect money if they are sold for charity. Have fun is also important as raising money! Enjoy!
If it is for charity you can ask donations with a minimum. If not a charity, add up the cost to you and double it. You may also add a little for cold drinks if you wish. Have fun!
