To keep from warping, you'll need to have something heavy stacked on top of it and not allow it to be exposed to excessive moisture. The environmental needs to be controlled, a good example would be a visit to diy stores in the lumber section.
Once it is warped, you might be able to use unwarped sections of it at best.
Don't get it Wet! If it is already Wet, Place it under heavy even weight until dry!
