Bows can be a tricky business for some people and others can tie them all day without a thought.
I fall into the first group. This is what works for me.
Tie your ends in the over and under fashion that you start your shoe laces with. Now make a loop on each side and tie your loop in the same over and under fashion as you started with. You should have two loops with one end coming out the bottom and one coming out the top. Take the end coming out the top and slide it behind the bow and pull down. Straighten, even out, and tighten the bow and trim ends.
