not sure what your referring to? but, if its at the bottom where moulding comes down to meet the floor, and your raising the floor of course with wood flooring, I used my oscillating saw with an angled saw attachment (these are different sizes and you can get one with the exact amount of cut you need..).. the bottom of the blade just rides on the floor, the angle raises the cutting edge up enough to cut off your moulding and let you slide your wood floor under it.. if you don't have one, most likely one of your friends will have a battery powered reciprocating saw.. you can also run it around your baseboard to make the same gap for your wood floor, unless your replacing all of your baseboard..
