Can anyone identify these couches??

Sue

I got these couches from a salvation army. All of the sides and backs have hooks so they can be moved anywhere on the wooden base along with the side table. There is no labels or any markings anywhere. Was wondering if anyone could help identify? Have been searching for years.

Well, this is showing my age!!! But it looks like it's from the 60's. I was a kiddo during this time and looks like stuff everyone had. Here is a link of something I found. May be of some help. Good luck. http://retrorenovation.com/2011/03/12/couches...

I had a friend when I was young, his family had one just like it, I just can't tell you how old it is. I am sure it's in the late 60's for that furniture, his mother and father wouldn't have had anything older than that.

I had one similar; it was Gov Ronald Raegans couch he used on the Amerine Farms DC3 while campaigning. My husband brought it home. Mid 1960

When I was a kid my neighbor had one & I remember her calling it a studio couch. When she got tired of it she put it in the girls room and made twin beds out of it. Her seat cushions were one piece. Hope I helped.

Look inside the frame or bottom for identification or possibly marked on the hooks?

I would agree that your couches probably date from the 1960's, I love them and congratulations on such a great find, you have a very discerning eye. Sorry I cannot help with the dating/manufacturer.

If you're talking about style - look to Danish Modern. Popular in the 60s.

House of Denmark made many of these type of modular sofas in the 1960's. There should be a manufacturers label on the frame and on the cushions if they are original to the piece. What a great Midcentury Danish Modern find.
