Hi Andrea, I found a similar question on the Home Depot website. The manufacturer answered the question and this is what they said:
"Hello Pam! Thank you for your question! A chop saw (motorized miter saw) is recommended for straight cuts. A jig saw or scroll saw is recommended for non-straight cuts. All cutting blades must be fine-toothed “metal cutting” type. When cutting is complete, use a fine-grit sandpaper or a small metal file to debur the cut edges. A utility knife is not recommended. Take the cut tile to the work space and place it in its intended location and make sure it fits properly. Feel free to contact customer care for installation troubleshooting (800.434.3750)."
The tools ad on the page does show a utility knife, but apparently that's not recommended by the manufacturer. Wishing you the best.

I think it depends on how thick it is. I had a peel and stick back splash I installed and I was able to cut it. Good Luck!
