What to put in this huge mason jar?
I have a HUGE mason jar. I would like some ideas on what to put in it for decorations, other than flowers.
I love the idea of having a quiet sitting area in the bedroom. Start by getting a comfortable chair and a floor lamp, two chairs if the area permits it. Perhaps a small table or basket to hold your books and magazines. Make it feel cozy and a retreat with the right lighting and accent pillows and a nice throw. Here's a picture of a larger space but gives you an idea.
Depending on where your bed is placed within the room, and the size of your room, choose a corner or an area by a window if possible and add a comfortable chair with a side table and lamp. Add a hanging plant or plant stand for an earthly touch, and maybe a scented candle. A chair, an ottoman, a side table, a lamp.......you're good! Enjoy.
Would you like a dressing and makeup area? You could use a folding screen a dress form a vanity. Hang a special outfit for decoration. If a window was involved you could use a long scarf draped over instead of a curtain. A great chandelier. A basket for laundry. Jewelry hangers on the walls etc
