There are readily available diamond drills made for just this purpose.

There are diamond drill bits made for that. You use water to cool and lubricate the bit as drilling. You local hardware should have them.

I;m afraid of getting electrocuted so how to use water????

Water is on the glass surface, not the drill motor. Perfectly safe in the small amount needed.

As you drill, the glass 'dust' makes a mud that gets hot and needs to be cooled or flushed away... thus, water. You do not need to spray anywhere but the glass surface... and even minor splashing would be 3-8inches from any motor or electric hazard.

Good drills are grounded or double insulated... you have protection when you properly use a modern tool (made in the last 35 years!)
