How can you brighten up the inside and outside of your house this time

It is daylight savings and it gets dark so early. The normal lighting of the house is okay, but there needs to be more lighting and color to brighten up inside and outside the house. It's too early for Christmas lights, but it is the holiday season.

How about some lit up topiarys on the front around your door I use white Christmas lines all year on my fireplace and I know lots of people who do the same.you could add lights to a fable tree in a corner

I have added flameless candles with a 5 hour timer to come on at 5pm. It makes it so much nicer inside. You could do white lights outdoors and solar lights. Line driveway and pathways with solar lights. Add decorative solar items to the yard that are year round.

Hi Mimi, there are all sorts of LED light fixtures, gadgets available these days. I'd go browse through the big box stores and see if something catches your eye. Maybe hang twinkle lights around your entire front door.

You can use votive candles or battery powered votives in your decorating. Make your mantel bright with votives, pumpkins, turkeys and other glass items for the fall.

    Hello,

Agree with Kathy, flameless candles, pole lamps and table lamps on auto timers help a lot!

I purchased outdoor rope lights at WM they are called "daylight" (in hardware dept.) They are super bright (thus the name), plus they are LED. They can go under your eave or placed on the ground near your windows, maybe that will help you with extended light until holiday lights get officially put up.😉
