How do you get plug of mini lights out the side of wine bottle?

This link explains one possibility if you have a wine bottle. I think some craft shops may sell the bottles already drilled. The hole may be large enough to put plug through. Otherwise you can use a replacement plug, available at any hardware. They also have on/off switches you could add to plug. Just cut off old plug, open new plug, place wire in channel, close, and done.
