How to create a chandelier on a ceiling fan?

I have a ceiling fan with a light on it. I want to add a blinged out chandelier attached to it. How can I do that? Any ideas?

Thank you Roberta. I cannot remove the ceiling fan as my husband loves it. I wanted to know how to add a diy chandelier to it. I have seen them before but haven't in a very long time.

Sometimes a re-do will cost as much as purchasing a new fan with a blinged out chandelier already on it. Look online for 'chandelier ceiling fans'. You might be surprised at what you can find/afford.
