I've had a 24" round mirror in my closet for 6 years. I'd like to hang it but I have no idea how to decorate it. We don't have any one theme in any room of our house. Basically, if we like something and it looks good we put it on the wall. I don't want to get rid of the mirror but I am clueless on what to do with it. It's a plain mirror. No border, no frame, nothing... Any suggestions?

I would hang it over a sideboard or entry table, then stage the table to fit around the mirror. You can also use it in a bath and glue shells around the edge. It would also be great over a small make up vanity.

  • Hand wipes. You get them in Chinese restaurants or buy them.

  • Perhaps you can pick up some glass gems or metallic bling items to glue around the edge? If you prefer brass or brushed nickel for your metal color in your home, you can coordinate with that.

Or you can tape off a design around the edge with painters tape and use a glass spray paint , Like Sea Glass or Frost, and make a pattern that way.

There's a rubbery type trim available at wood trim shops that they use to trim out around arched windows. It can be bought fairly wide widths and would look just like a nice wood frame when painted.
