We used command strips to hang a mirror in my grandson's dorm. It worked great, just make sure to get one that will hold the correct weight.

You can use mirror corners if you are attaching it it wood if not comand adhesive. I have also used self adhesive velcro tape in the past is the mirror is not to heavy.
If you are talking about a vertical plastic-framed dooor mirror, Wal-Mart sells 2-sided tape squares for them in the mirror aisle. It worked for us. You can also glue it with construction adhesive.
What is the weight of the mirror ? Where will you hang it ? What's does the back have for hanging ?
