I would say it's ok if you like a two toned effect! I would think you'd have to make sure both of your leathers were the same thickness or you will end up with humps at every seam. I would also think you'd have to consider what the cleaning requirements are for both your leathers before you commit to use them together. I would want both to have the same cleaning requirements so as not to stain one while trying to clean the other one. Hope this helps!
Absolutely!! I always appreciate when furniture goes great together but isn't' too matchy-matchy. I think it gives the space even more personality. Go for it!!
We have a wine color sofa and love seat and a light cream beige lazy boy chair. Looks great.
Decorating is a personal taste. I have different colors as accents pieces and love it. If you like it g for it.
If size, texture, style are similar. If not you may end up living in a gypsy caravan.
I am a designer. No insult meant but unless it's a masculine den or man cave please don't do it . Do one piece in a nice tweed fabric with tweed picking up color of leather in tweed. I like sofa in leather chair in fabric. Place pillows on sofa to coordinate with both pieces to pull them together.
Go for it. Unless you both sit in recliners can buy 1 and a cmfortable chair in fabric to blend with both. Go to stores like lazy boy and see how they do rooms . Go to other furniture stores look how there set up . Take pictures ask for sample swatches. If you live need an IKEA check it out. Because of crowds I go on Internet and can get catalog. Bewareful if buying at IKEA furniture doesn't last to long. Google in "other stores like IKEA" or if you are sick of IKEA other stores like it. Look though design mags at book stores don't buy take pictures of rooms be careful. now you got all that for free. Have fun
Thanks
It did. Thanks.
