Repairing a Tiffany type lamp

Question

I have a Tiffany type lamp where the stained glass is pulling away from the  the metal part on top.   Where would I go or search for someone who can do repairs like this?   I am afraid I'll break it if I force it in even if that were possible.

If it is lead, you can push it or gently use pliers. If it is not, it is not a very expensive piece so I would not invest much in its repair. But as Leslie said, you will then need to find a glass or lamp repair person.(and before paying over $100 for repair, check its replacement cost, may be the same for a new one)

When you state 'Tiffany type' - do you know approximately how old it is?  A picture would help.

Do a search on pinterest. If the leading is loose you can repair it using a glaze.  I saw it posted on Pinteresy.

IF, it is expensive and glass and old then call around like lighting centers they probably  know who,what and where to go ...If it's fiberglass I would go to The Dollar Tree get the glue in a tube and repair it myself....

Thank you all.   I'll be making some  phone calls.  The lamp is only about 20 years old but wasw given to me by my daughters.   Such a dilemma.
