I'd have to know what kind of projects. Feet/legs would need to vary in size depending on the project, whether indoor/outdoor, etc.

I am starting to put wheels on everything getting a little age and it makes everything so easy to clean behind and under and even to change the furniture around.

It is difficult to answer not knowing the size or scope of the project, but I have used curtain rod pole ends (using an upside down small side table to create a cat bed) & wooden furniture pulls (small jewelry box for my niece). I have also used simple 4x4's cut into 2-4" slices for outdoor planter projects... Not sure this helps but sometimes you have to turn things upside down to see options!
