What can I use for Wall mount picture frames using adhesive tapes?

I am so eager to start my DIY Mod Podge photo frames. Besides wood and canvass, what light weight materials can I use for my project? I'm thinking thin flat styrofoam sheets. Is this a good idea?

Styrofoam sheets would be okay as long as they don't shred. Foam board is cheap and sturdy. Dollar Tree, big grocery stores, Walmart all carry them in various colors. Plastic canvas would probably work and art boards, too. Just try the best hangers for what you get. Bless your heart š
