What's the best glue to use for wood?

    Been a woodworker for 30+ years. Past 5-7 years. I use Titebond wood glue. I used to use Elmer"s. Titebond has different types for wood. I tried Gorilla glue, but didn't like the polyurethane expanding properties of it.

    Ive used Elmers Wood Glue forever! I made custom cabinets for years and that's what we used in our shop. I've never had an issue.

    As a 40+ yr Contractor I only use Elmer's wood glue. There is exterior(waterproof) & stainable. All your woodworking shows on TV also only use "wood glue". It is a wood shop staple.
