I am working on doing a design on canvas. I think that sewing or gluing them on will be my method. I have a folder I've been keeping inspiration in. I've also made bracelets with them and Christmas ornaments.
I just purchased a necklace and bracelet made from buttons and strung on elastic for less than $3.50 for both. Buttons were all the same size - different colors - but you can string them on any angle you want to.
I saw on one of the diy shows to make a wreath, cover with lace or material first and then sew on all different buttons, all kinds and shapes and sizes. It was cute!
I'm getting ready to start a button craft to make a bowl for jewelry, etc. I seen it here on Hometalk. So easy to do and it's adorable. Have fun and let us know what you decide to do.
