It lets you organize scheduling, reminders, to-do lists, brainstorming, and other organizational tasks into a single notebook for your convenience. But in essence, a bullet journal is just a dotted notebook. What you do with it completely depends on your unique requirements.

I mainly use My bullet journal as a way to get my thoughts out of my head and written down so I don't forget them. It takes me about 5 minutes max (usually less) to write down my daily tasks and update my habit tracker. I also have various "modules" to track various lists (e.g., books read, movies watched, gift ideas, etc.)
