What to put in this huge mason jar?
I have a HUGE mason jar. I would like some ideas on what to put in it for decorations, other than flowers.
Pull the paper off as best you can. Take peanut butter and apply to sticky residue. Remove with paper towel. Repeat if necessary. This really works and no chemicals are needed.
Try alit goo-gone
Use a blow drier to melt the glue and peel it off. If the item is a container of some type, fill it with very hot water for extra help. If there is still a gluey residue, you can use WD40 (this WILL work) Goo gone (probably will work, but I've seen some glues that are too sticky and stubborn for it) or Vodka (works about as well as goo gone, but it gives you a great excuse if you want to have a get together. "I have this almost full bottle of vodka... wanna come over and help me finish it?")
nail polish remover
Pan , the cooking spray.
A paste of baking soda and vegetable oil will usually remove the glue. Clean with dawn and vinegar to remove the oil.
Goo-gone
Thanks
If it's just stickers, I use mayonnaise. Let it sit for awhile, take a damp rag and wipe at it. For the stubborn stuff repeat the process
Put a little bit of nail polish remover and let it set a few minutes or put a wet hot wash cloth over it and let it set a few minutes
Mineral spirits...will also clean pine pitch, tar anything gooey.
Hands down the best $2 ever spent... it gets goo off everything with out ruining the surface, and with out soaking, without elbow grease! Only need a few drops love it!!
I use a flat razor blade to remove stickers from glass.
I agree, Goo Gone is is the best and couldnt live without it! It has so many applications, just remember to give it time to soak in and do it's job. No scrapping ever.
I too use Goo Gone but just yesterday my husband wanted to remove stickons from his hard sided lugggage after a recent trip and found WD40 to be more effectiv.
Mineral oil, let it set a while and it should come off with a non-scratch dish sponge
WD-40! Spray it on - let it sit - comes off!
a product called GooGone
