What kind of rod should I use to hang excess plant vines?

Maybe bamboo! Couluse twine n make ur own design trellis n stick it in soil or us hooks to hang off planter!!??!

You can use string or dowels depending on how heavy the vines are. For string, you could attach the ends across the window by using some clear Command hooks then knotting the string to the hooks. If you need dowels, you could use curtain hanging hardware hooks on each side of the window. Just be sure the dowel will fit into the bracket. You could also attach a lattice panel over the window and wind the vines across it, using it like a trellis. It could be painted any color you like. I hope one of these ideas inspires you.
