What’s the best contact paper to use on counters?

Walmart has this stuff - it's like contact paper without the adhesive. Comes on a roll super easy to work with and it stays in place. Great in drawers too and for the life of me I can't remember what it's called. It's like a thin place mat material, kind of spongy. It's in their kitchen department.
