Where can I find 1" Clear plastic tubing, similar in strength to PVC ?

I am making a layered log slab, lamp. Drilling a center hole, about 1", Layering the slabs about 3" apart and inserting the clear tube into the slabs. By adding an LED light it will be a neat floor lamp! Thanks, Elaine

I was thinking maybe the tubing from a hamster habitat. Not sure of the strength though. Good luck, it sounds awesome!
We buy clear plastic tubing at any hardware store..they sell different sizes and will cut the length you want.
