Which is best adhesive for combining wood and glass or wood vs metal?

in crafting there are many problems I encounter bonding different items to each other..
glass to plastic ,glass to glass, glass to wood,wood to metal, metal to metal..some take 24 hrs to cure ..is there a better shorter curing time bonding Agent..crazy glue does not always work well,,,,

I am a huge fan of gorilla glues (except they expand, so you have to be careful to use clamps) and E6000. Both of these options have worked for me.
Contractors glue works well. Just need a claim gun to apply.
Liquid nails seems to be the best out there. That's just my opinion.
