  Hi! Did you get that info from the G.G. site? I see that for toxicity of the super glue gel in the poster's link, a lot of the data is not available.

  I know that a lot of people have posted on the Internet that it is food grade or safe, but I just saw this, but it refers more to its water resistant aspect:

  Thanks, yes that is one of the links I provided with my question. It isn't the super glue gel mentioned by the poster, but the wood glue only. It is good for use on hardwoods, softwoods, and wood composites, and is water resistant (not waterproof), so IMO, I don't think it would be good for a dish. The food grade part refers to cutting boards and other things of the sort, I believe.

  Did you end up finding a glue for your dish? I could have sworn there was one on the market years ago...Maybe it wasn't safe after all...lol...

I bought a UV glue pen from china. It's dental quality so it's safe to use in someone's mouth. I can't imagine that it wouldn't be safe for dishes, I'll just remember to not put it in the dishwasher. It's probably dishwasher safe but I don't want to ruin it.
