You could add a metal tree so the birds fly around the tree.
The birds are lovely but maybe you could add something like a starburst mirror and possibly silver tone stars to fill in some of the empty space. Pintrest has some mirrors that look nice and very easy to make. Try this for a start https://www.pinterest.com/pin/405535141439160830/
There are many wall decals available online. A tree decal installed to the side of the flying birds could create a more interesting wall. https://www.amazon.com/RoomMates-RMK1317GM-Branches-Stick-Decals/dp/B0027CSJCU or http://weliketheworld.com/tree-wall-decals/free-shipping-wall-decal-trees-decor-nursery-vinyl-with-tree-decals-prepare-13/. Or if you're artistic, then paint your own tree silhouette on the wall.
If you add branches behind your sofa. The shadow play is lovely on the wall and with your birds it would be all the more interesting.
I would also suggest adding silhouettes of trees and/or branches. I'd make it very subtle, however. Perhaps the same color of paint you have but in a different finish (gloss if the rest of the wall is flat). Very nice design!
