No question just a reply to my ceramic lamp project.
I had the small ceramic green lamp to redo. I matched regular thick yarn to the lace braiding at the edge of the shade. I covered the lamp with Elmer's white glue and wrapped the entire base with the brown yarn. It looks amazing. It is a rustic look and matches my bedroom. Thank all of you for your suggestions!
