Any ideas on how to fix a cigarette burn on carpet without cutting it

I just had a new carpet installed in the apartment in my finished basement and sure enough I found a cigarette burn in it, I did kind of run a knife through it and brushed it which did improve it but curious to see if anyone has any ideas that would be better because I have found a few others and would truly appreciate any help because this carpeting was NOT cheap and I don't want to catch a court case, if you get my drift...

Go to a closet or corner and snip some carpet fibers, enough to fill the burn hole(s) and glue them in with a non water soluble glueHelpful Reply -
