You need to tell us what the floor is made of. Could be wood, vinyl, tile, cement, laminate flooring, carpet, etc. Photos would be helpful also. If you can't post them here you could put them on imgur and put the link to them here.
Also let us know what you have tried to repair the problem, and also when the floor was installed if you know.
