If the rug does not flatten out by pulling it flat, it may have stretched out in some areas. It will need to be professionally re-blocked. Otherwise, the rug gripper video that Suzette sent is good for hard surfaces. -

You have to stretch it somehow, and have some help doing it. If you have cinder blocks, that would hold it for sure. I'd leave it for a couple of days. -

Have it steam cleaned, it will relax the fibers. -

Hello V.panzarella, Basically your carpet needs to be restretched in order to get rid of the "waves" that has developed.
