How do I keep my Pergo Outlast floors from looking dull?

I have beautiful Pergo Outlast floors installed because of the durability and pet resistance. However they look dull as soon as they dry from cleaning. I’ve cleaned with only hot water, hot water and a small amount of Thieves from Young Living, and I finally tried a laminate floor cleaning product. I don’t want to use a floor shine since that will just build up and I fear damaging the laminate. Any advice for this high end laminate??

Mix together either 1 cup vinegar or 1/3 cup ammonia to 1 gallon of warm water. You can also use Pergo's Laminate and Hard Surface cleaner according to directions.

Mop your floor with the cleaner. To avoid streaks, use a towel to dry the floor after mopping. For best results, use a microfiber mop.

If your floor still looks cloudy or dull, repeat steps 2 and 3 or try just water.

Thank you! Would you recommend cleaning the floors first with the vinegar solution and then use the Pergo cleaner? Or just one or the other?

      Thank you again!

If the liquid you clean the floors with starts looking cloudy or dirty, change it or you will be putting that cloudy dirty water back on the floor. Make sure you really rinse the mop down when you put it in the liquid so that you don't have that redepositing on the floor. A vinegar or plain water rinse will also help get any soap residue off the floor. Make sure you dry it well after cleaning, making sure the rags or towels stay clean. The vinegar cuts soap really well.

Thank you for your reply. It was clean water. I can’t stand dirty mop water. So gross! Thank you again!

Do not use detergent based cleaners, do not use a steam mop, do not wax the floors.

Use a damp mop to gently clean your Pergo. You can make a Pergo-recommended household cleaner with 1 cup household vinegar to 1 gallon warm water or 1/3 cup ammonia mixed with 1 gallon warm water. This cleaner will cleanse gently, removing dirt but keeping your floor beautiful.
