    You can replace the braces with similar sized wood. Use pressure treated wood. Lasts longer. If footing isn't good just remove the old and cement new one.

    Unless you know exactly what you're doing, don't try to mess around replacing footings! Bite the bullet and hire a competent construction or basement contractor. If new footings aren't done right and according to current building codes in your area AND inspected if required, you're going to be in a world of hurt with forever wonky floors, cracking walls and possibly collapsing areas. Footings are just another word for foundation of the house, and if your footings (foundation) aren't good, your entire house won't be good.

    Check all that out before you start then you need a jack to jack next to the spot that’s needs to be replaces jack up to the same size then remove the brace fix what needs fixing then take jack off
