I have a terrible pitted stained ceramic tile floor in kitchen!
Tiles were not sealed and are stained and chipping. I cannot afford to replace. What options do I have. Can they be successfully painted And sealed? I saw stenciling but too busy for me. Plus it is a very, very large kitchen floor.

You could get more grout and fill in spots and then seal the floor with a good seal coat. As for the stains you could buy some stencil patterns and paint them on one you have fixed the grout or you could paint the whole floor. It would cost about $50-$75. Good luck! -

Depending on the amount of chipping, you might try to cover it with Kraft Paper pieces, torn and placed randomly, after filling in any holes or missing grout.
