Buy one - put it in a pot! I buy inexpensive ones at Lowes and put them in pots for my patio.

I had to giggle at your wanting a palm tree in your apartment. My son found 2 pitiful, severely neglected palms on sale and brought them home. They were rather large and they took over my deck!

So be careful what you pick. There are several different varieties of palms as well as beautiful plants that give the same feeling as a palm.

Go to your local nursery and read the instructions on care, light, etc. and pick something pretty. You will find there are very brilliant colors in house plants too!!
