good condition doll crib ~ thought maybe use as a planter outside

Great idea but not sure how it will hold up outside. You could drill some holes in the bottom for water to drain out.

You might want to line it with burlap and put some trailing ivy in some.

We have a very small space, and already have a basket and painted chair on the front porch ~ I am thinking, something will come. Thanks everyone!

Where ever you decide is the new home for this project, I would drill the holes as suggested by Lisa. Then I would use marine paint for the crib.
