What potted plants with bloom don't require a lot to water?

    cactus. There are some that will flower. Great if you live in a higher crime area. Plant under windows.

    LaDor....I also live in Texas. We've had good luck with Lantana and "pride of Barbados. They are very hardy in Texas. Also, Boganvillas. They are wonderful in hanging baskets or pots.

    Thanks so much for the info, Ladies. I'll Google to view these selections. But, I'm afraid any type of hanging plant is out. This is the second year that birds have made best in my hanging plants. I don't know what to do. It's really kind if creepy to know the process; Mommie, then the eggs, then the babies, then they fly the coop.
