    Use large pots. That way you don't have to bend down to harvest your herbs. Be sure to plant the herbs that tolerate Florida weather. They may not grow well because of extreme heat. Basil, chives, sage and thyme for starters.

    i like my galvanized wash tubs, but you need to get non treated lumber, and decide how deep to make the planter....there are kits from big box reatailers they have the hardware, you supply the boards. Otherwise wood stakes to hold the corners in place screws or nails.us ed

    Having TWO, side by side, then you can put a board between them to sit on and your feet in the bottom between them. VERY nice for working etc. I have multiple raised beds, all close enough to do that. Width of the beds, whatever you can reach from sitting.
