Any advice for doing pour in place concrete counter tops?

I want to replace my old tile counter tops with wooden trim with more modern concrete counter tops with glass aggregate.
i have done a lot of research on them but I’m not sure of the best way to get to add the aggregate to get the look I want
What I have now 17 years old and dated

    Use a smooth finished material like Melmeline for your forms... it will save you a lot of polishing.... and use the correct type of concrete.. and wire reinforcement... most concrete mixes for counter tops contain a special medium to give strength to the concrete to keep it from cracking.... BE PATIENT.... allow it the proper amount of time to set up before removing the mold.
