Do you have cabinets and appliances? If not, go to the kitchen designers are Home Depot with your exact dimensions, plumbing, and electrical and they can help.
Do you have photos? Here are a few things I have found helpful.
If your shelves are tall but your items are not, buy wire shelves that stand (not mounted) to double shelf space. I bought some at the Dollar Tree.
Lazy Susans are best for round items.
Screw cup hooks underneath your top cabinets and hang items from them like coffee cups (duh) or utensils (large spoons).
If you have counter space, add shelves to that to double your area.
Try not to have a dish rack for drying dishes. Opt for the drying towel. If you must have a dish rack, go with the "X" shape as it takes up less space.
Utilize the inside of cabinet doors for additional storage.
Buy things that stack inside each other for storage like "lock and lock" bowls.
The under sink area can be a great place for storage so get some type of shelving, bins, or baskets to fully utilize.
